Our Story

Our Story

Born from Fire,
Shaped by Hand

House of Dhatu began with a simple conviction: that the ancient Indian tradition of metal craftsmanship deserves a place at the modern table. Not as relics of the past, but as living objects — functional, beautiful, and built to last generations.

We don't just sell metalware. We carry forward a conversation between ancient wisdom and contemporary living — one vessel at a time.

Our Journey

The Dhatu Story

The Problem Was Obvious

Every online marketplace was full of 'brass' and 'copper' products. Most were plated steel or diluted alloys - metal so compromised it carried none of the properties the name implied. Centuries of craft, undercut by cheap shortcuts. We decided purity was not a premium option. It was the only option.

The House Opens

House of Dhatu launches with NABL-certified brass and copper — every piece verified for composition, every piece made by artisan families who never took the shortcut. No coatings. No fillers. No compromise. This is what pure metal looks like. And we are just getting started.

What We Stand For

Our Values

Authenticity

Pure metals, traditional techniques, honest craft. No plating, no shortcuts — just the real thing.

Sustainability

Metals that last centuries, not seasons. Craft that supports livelihoods, not factories.

Heritage

Preserving India's metalworking traditions by making them relevant for today's homes.

Wellness

Copper and Kansa have been used in Ayurveda for millennia. Health and beauty in every vessel.

Artisan hands at work

The Makers

Masters of Metal

Our artisans are not workers — they are keepers of a tradition that stretches back centuries. In workshops passed down through families, they transform raw metal into objects of beauty and purpose.

We work directly with artisan families in Moradabad and Jagadhri, ensuring fair wages, safe conditions, and the creative freedom to practice their craft with dignity.
